Website and waitlist privacy notice
This notice covers this website and the Intara waitlist. It does not cover the Intara product that law firms use; that has its own privacy policy.
The short version
- We set no cookies on this website.
- If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address and anything optional you tell us, so we can invite you and send launch news at most once a month.
- Nothing is kept until you confirm your email address.
- We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising.
- You can unsubscribe or have your details deleted at any time.
Who we are
Intara Legal makes client intake software for law firms. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@intaralegal.com.
When you visit this website
Hosting logs. Our host, Vercel, records request data such as IP address, the page requested, the time and the browser. We use these logs only for security and to stop abuse.
Analytics. We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It does not use cookies. It identifies a visit with a short-lived value derived from the request that is discarded after 24 hours, and it reports pages, referrers, approximate location, operating system, browser and device type in aggregate. We also count, without any detail, when someone confirms a waitlist signup.
Cookies. We set no cookies. We do not use advertising pixels, session recording or heatmaps.
Global Privacy Control. We honor it. Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is nothing more for it to turn off.
When you join the waitlist
What we collect. Your work email address. Optionally, your state, practice areas, your role and your firm's name. We also record which version of the consent text you saw and when you confirmed.
Why. To send you an invitation, in an order that matches where and how Intara can serve you, and to send news about the launch, at most once a month.
Bot check. When you start filling in the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are a person. Cloudflare processes data from your browser for that check only.
Confirming. We email you a link and add you only after you press Confirm on our site. Until then nothing is stored on a list. The link carries your details in encrypted form, so your email address does not appear in it.
Where it is kept. Confirmed signups are kept in our account with Resend, the email service that also sends our waitlist email. Resend stores data in the United States. Resend also keeps each email it sends, and its delivery log, for 30 days, including email to addresses that never confirmed. After that it is deleted.
How long. Until 12 months after we send your launch invitation, unless you choose to keep getting launch news. If you create an Intara account, we remove you from the waitlist within 30 days, and the product privacy policy covers your account. If you unsubscribe, we keep only what we need to make sure we never email you again.
What we never do. Sell it, share it for advertising, or put tracking pixels in our email. Email from us has open and click tracking turned off.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To have your details deleted entirely, use the delete option on the unsubscribe page, or email privacy@intaralegal.com.
- To see or correct what we hold, email the same address.
If you are a law firm's client
If your law firm uses Intara, your answers belong to your law firm. We can't see or act on your legal matter. See help for clients, and contact your law firm about your information.
Children
This website and the waitlist are for law firms and their staff. They are not meant for children under 13.
