Intake

A client questionnaire for estate planning, made for a phone.

Send one link. Your client answers one question at a time, with family helping if they need it. There is no account and no password, and every answer saves the moment it is given.

Built for a phone, not a printer

One question at a time, with large, readable text and answers that are easy to tap. No app to download and no password to remember.

Clients can stop at any point and open the same link again later, so a questionnaire can be finished over a few evenings. Your firm's name is on every questionnaire page.

02

Family can help, and you know when they did

The first question asks who is answering: the client, or someone answering for the client. A helper then says how they are related. Help is welcome, and your firm sees that it happened.

Plain words, ranges, and only the questions that apply

Questions branch, so a client with no minor children never sees a guardianship section. Clients read plain words, not legal terms. Where a value matters, the questionnaire asks for a range. It never asks for Social Security numbers, account numbers, exact balances or medical records.

Branching

Only the questions that apply.

  • Are any of your children under 18?
  • Yes: the guardianship section shows
  • No: the guardianship section is skipped

Reminders, then a brief before you meet

If a client stalls, Intara sends a reminder, so your staff don't have to chase.

When the questionnaire is complete, the attorney gets a one-page consult brief with the open questions flagged, so the first meeting starts with decisions.

Questions

Questions firms ask.

Do clients need an account or a password?

No. The questionnaire opens from the link your firm sends. Every answer saves as it is given, and the same link opens it again later.

Can a family member fill it in?

Yes. The first question asks who is answering. If it is someone answering for the client, they say how they are related, and your firm sees it.

What does the questionnaire never ask for?

Social Security numbers, account numbers, exact balances and medical records. Where a value matters, clients choose a range.

How do new inquiries come in?

Your website gets a "Start your inquiry" button. The person fills in a short form and gets a receipt by email if they ask for one, and the inquiry lands in your Inquiries list. Your staff send the questionnaire when the inquiry is ready.

What does the attorney get before the meeting?

A one-page consult brief of the client's answers, with the open questions flagged.
